Please read these terms and conditions before using the magellanhardware.co.uk website. By using this website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
You must not use this website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.
You must use this website for lawful purposes only.
When you order a product or products from the Magellan Group Ltd via this website you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of an order. This is an offer to purchase from us. On the day that your order is dispatched you will receive a dispatch confirmation e-mail. This is our acceptance of your order.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in UK pound sterling and will be billed in UK pound sterling. The prices quoted are Ex Works and exclude Value Added Tax (at the standard rate of 17.5%).
Currently we accept the following credit/debit cards:
Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Switch, Solo, JCB and Diners Club.
Magellan Group Ltd reserve the right to change prices and specifications on this website without notice.
If the correct price is higher than our stated price we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Quoted delivery times are our best estimates and are not guaranteed.
We may also deliver goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this.
You will be informed by email when your goods have been despatched from our warehouse.
Should you have any problems, i.e.
* If you do not receive your goods within 14 days.
* You have items missing or your goods are damaged from delivery.
Please contact us immediately by telephone on 01256 681100. If you do not contact us within 48 hours from date of receipt we will assume your goods have been delivered in perfect condition. We cannot entertain any claims for breakage or shortages if 48 hours has lapsed.
If we have not dispatched the goods within 30 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract. We will refund any money paid by you.
Our couriers will only hold your package for up to 5 days, if the package has not been successfully delivered within the time given, the order will be returned back to us and classed as a failed delivery. If your order has been classed as a failed delivery, we can either re-send the order (at your cost) or a refund will be issued for the order and the items restocked (a 15% handling fee will apply).
Inspection & Acceptance
You should inspect the products as soon as you receive them for defects or damage. If you find any defects or damages you must inform us by telephone on 01256 681100 within 3 working days of delivery and we will arrange for your goods return to us. If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will repair or replace the goods or refund the price paid to you.
YOU MUST REFUSE PARCELS DELIVERED IN A DAMAGED CONDITION.
In no circumstances shall Magellan Group Ltd be liable to compensate the Purchaser in damages or otherwise for non-delivery or late delivery of the Products or for any loss consequential or otherwise arising from non-delivery or late delivery.
You must contact us first before returning any goods purchased from us. We will then inform you of the easiest way of returning any goods. All Returns must have an issued RMA number, accompanied by returns form (with all requested information clearly visible).
The warranty on all items is RTB (Return to base) the item(s) must be sent back at your own cost (this is non-refundable). All consumables are not covered by any warranty if they have been used or subject to usage and are non exchangeable or refundable.
In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you may return unused goods up to seven working days from the day on which your goods were received.
Written notice must be given and Magellan Group Ltd customer services be informed within these seven days before returning any goods. When returning non-faulty goods customers must pay the return shipping charges back to Magellan Group Ltd.
Please ensure that you clearly label all goods for return with your Name, Account Number, RMA number and order number and send to:

a) Magellan Group Ltd warrants that the goods will be of good quality. Magellan Group Ltd's warranty of workmanship (if provided) shall be effective from the date on which the goods were accepted. Magellan Group Ltd will replace, free of charge, any part or parts of the goods which fail to function as a result of faults caused during their manufacture providing always that such faulty goods are returned carriage paid to Magellen Group Ltd's premises. The goods when repaired by Megallan Group Ltd will then be returned carriage paid to the Purchaser.
Magellan Group Ltd shall not be liable under this warranty:
i) where the defect results from the goods being subjected to abnormal usage or where the defect is due to the act, neglect or default.
ii) for the replacement or repair of the goods or part or parts thereof where such replacement, or repair becomes impossible as a result of force majeure or any other circumstances beyond Magellan Group Ltd's control
iii) where the goods or any components or parts thereof are the subject of a separate guarantee given by a third party.
iv) where failure is caused by abuse or neglect.
b) The Purchaser acknowledges that if he has not notified to Magellan Group Ltd any particular purpose for which the goods are required all express or implied warranties or conditions statutory or otherwise as to quality of or fitness for any particular purpose of the goods are hereby expressly excluded and Magellan Group Ltd shall not (except as set out above) be under any liability whatsoever in respect of defects in goods delivered or for any injury, damage or loss resulting from such defects from any cause whatsoever.
Condition of Liability
This site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Magellan Group Ltd is not liable for any errors or inaccuracies and is not responsible for any losses however caused.
Customer details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card number will be used for taking and fulfilling orders only.
Information sent to our website servers from your web browser software may be collected by Magellan Group Ltd. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser version and type, operating system and platform, how you found our website and web pages at magellanhardware.co.uk that you have visited. This information is used for internal statistical measurement purposes only.
In the unlikely event of a complaint relating to the supply of goods by Magellan Group Ltd our procedure will deal with complaints fairly, confidentially and effectively. If you have a complaint then please contact us in writing, stating the product involved, the nature of your complaint, the date of purchase or the date of supply of service and giving us your appropriate contact details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and we will tell you of when we expect to resolve the matter, keeping you informed until it is concluded.
